This is my very first print.  It's called "Sadness," I think it's 6" x 9", dry point, 2006.  Edition of 7.  The title is somewhat facetious - while I was in the parking lot of the town library, this is pretty much what I saw.  I'm sure he wasn't sad, but sitting by yourself staring at a flower in a field is an odd sight. 




I don't feel too badly about this, considering I'd never done a print before in my life.  But as far as dry points go, it's not that great.  I didn't really take advantage of the medium, and just tried to replicate the drawing I had done in my sketchbook.  It's all good, we've all got to start somewhere...
