Red Right Hand
Another golden oldie: "Red Right Hand," 5.5" x 8.5", India Ink/Watercolor, 2007.

Last week totally disappeared on me. I had a little foot problem that laid me out for a few days, and by the time I was mobile and clear-headed again, the catching-back-up process kept me from getting into the studio at all. But it's a new week, and with it a new chance to get some work done.
I headed down to Salem yesterday to scope out the Salem Art Fair, partly just to get out of town and partly to check out nuts and bolts stuff about how to set up a booth at one of these things. One thing became apparent: I'm going to need to frame a metric ton of pieces in the next month. Hopefully I'll make it through the summer with a ton of framed pieces and all my fingers intact! It was a good show, by the way, although I only noticed two printmakers among all those booths. Are there really that few people making prints these days?
