Pseudopsychopharmacology

Pseudopsychopharmacology

Another recent completion.  I did these plates for a print exchange with a class in Australia a couple of years ago, but the template for the prints demanded an inch gap between the two plates.  I didn't really account for that, and the print that I sent in for the exchange was definitely not something that I cared for much.  The gap just destroyed it.  But when I pushed the plates together, well, at least I didn't want to set the copper plates on fire (or figure out a way to do so) anymore.  It's pretty unlikely that I'll print an actual edition of this in black and white, but I did print a handful to hand-color individually.  Who knows if I'll finish any more (I don't do hand-coloring to create a lazy man's version of a color edition, instead each one is supposed to be a variant from an identical starting point), but this one came out well enough to show off a bit.  Extra bonus: people never get tired of talking about health care.  So while this one wasn't particularly relevant at the time (the focus of the print exchange had to do with medicine), I'll be prepared to discuss the issue frequently at this weekend's show.
