I Got Next - hand-colored version
"I Got Next," 9" x 12", hand-colored woodcut, 2009.

This is the hand-colored version of my basketball print. I don't feel very adept at straight watercolors, which is why I prefer to use watercolor pencils and ink. They're a lot easier for me to manage. In this case though, I was pleasantly surprised how the watercolors turned out.

Tomorrow's the load-in day for the West Linn Arts Festival, which means that I'm going to be very busy for the next three days. I probably won't get around to posting anything new until next week, but I'll be sure to take some pictures and recap the show when I catch my breath on Monday. Stop by, tell all your friends, and I'll see you in West Linn!
