Hand-Colored LBLN
Here are a couple of prints that I've done additional hand-coloring on, both versions of "Little Bird, Little Nest."

For the first version, I used watercolor pencils and ink wash. The second one is strictly ink wash. As always, clicking through on the image will take you to my Flickr site, where you can check these out in much larger sizes. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out. I probably won't end up having any of these prints for myself - I printed 19, 14 of which go into a folio exchange set, these 2 have been colored, and I'll likely trade the remaining 3 prints with people who are doing the folio, but aren't in my group.
It's been a very interesting week. As always, the Art Beat week at PCC is the highlight of the year as far as I'm concerned. But between the public pat-on-the-back from the student show, inspiring talks by Carson Ellis and Keith Achepohl, and a somewhat bewildering critique I got today, my head is swimming. I wish I could blame it on the cold medicine, but I'm finally feeling a bit better. So who knows?
