This is one of the three prints that I completed this quarter.  This was a fairly small image that came together pretty quickly, but I ended up spending a couple of full days trying to get the darks dark enough and the highlights light enough.  In one day, I went through 5 different states.  I might do another post going through the seemingly minute (but time-consuming) changes, just to show the amount of work behind what might seem like a somewhat simple image.

I don't really know where the image came from, other than to say that I've been chipping away at "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey for the last month (and been reading a lot of old underground comix), so that might explain the idea of an authority figure literally messing with someone's brain.  The book was awesome, by the way.
