Grr
Here's "Grr," 2.5" x 3.5", ink/marker, 2010.

One of my unwritten rules of the blog (previously, since I just wrote it) is to try not to post anything without some accompanying artwork. So I whipped out this artist trading card so that I could put anyone's mind to rest - I'm feeling a lot better these days. That's not to say that I wasn't in rough shape over the last month, but things are better. I'm back to work (I started a small woodcut late last week - hopefully that'll be complete and editioned by the end of the week), I'm back to working out, and I've been reading a ton lately. I'll have a new mixcast later this week, too.
It's probably a bit early to start pushing my two art fair appearances this summer (we're about six weeks out from the first), but it's the same two shows that I did last year. I got some good news from the first one - my booth is right next to the information booth. Hopefully the guaranteed foot traffic will equal increased interest in my work. Trust me, I'll be happy to pimp both shows soon, but whatever I say about the shows now will definitely be forgotten by the time they roll around.
I don't have a lot more to say, hopefully I'll have something to show for my work pretty soon. Until then, take 'er easy...
