Another Woodcut WIP
Things have been pretty hectic for the last couple of weeks - impending show pressure, family visiting from out of the country - you know, the usual batch of stuff. But I have been working steadily on some woodcuts this summer. It's been a welcome change of pace from etching (which is pretty much the only thing I had been working on for the last year or so); it helps to switch gears every now and then, and keeps me from falling too badly into an artistic rut.
I finally got proofs of a couple different woodcuts printed this week, and I was pretty pleased with how they ended up. Here's the image of the first one - no title yet, 9" x 12".

The printing job isn't perfect, but I'm in the process of hand-coloring this one right now, and I'll worry about getting a decent edition done next week. Two weeks until the Silverton show - time to get down to business!!!
