Silverton Fine Arts Festival
I'm sitting in a hotel in Salem after an unbelievably long day. This weekend is the Silverton Fine Arts Festival, and I'll be exhibiting at that. If you don't have anything to do this weekend, why not drive on down and check things out? I'm friendlier than I look, and you really should get out of the house this weekend.

One of the great things about being a printmaker is that the actual product doesn't take up a ton of space. I can fit my entire booth and its contents in my pickup truck. So doing an art fair is pretty manageable - while I still have to borrow some stuff from my super-awesome friends, I don't have to rent a giant vehicle + trailer just to get my stuff there, unlike people who do other forms of artwork. I snapped a couple of quick shots of what will end up being my entire display crammed into my truck...

At some point, I'd love to get a canopy for the back of my truck so that the artwork can travel in the back instead of occupying every nook and cranny of the cab. Guess I need to sell a bunch of prints this weekend!
Anyhow, I'll take a ton of pictures, and hopefully it'll be a fun weekend in Silverton!

Hi Clayton,
I came to the Silverton Fine Arts Festival and throughly enjoyed it. In fact I talked with you a while (you were the first artist I visited) I enjoyed your work and I hope to see more of it in the future. I think you are a great artist. I am interested in printmaking.-Jodi
