Leftovers 2 print
So, normally when I do a post about a new print that I've created, I'll give the title, dimensions, etc. at the beginning. Unfortunately, I did an edition of 14, all of which were sent in for a print exchange, and now I can't seem to remember what I titled this print for the life of me. Yikes!

This print was created specifically for the "Leftovers 2" print exhange. The idea behind the exchange was to use whatever paper you had laying around to print on. I quickly decided that I'd print on the back of old proofs since I have no shortage of them (5 years worth, at this point). The bonus was that I found enough proofs on the same kind of paper that I was able to do an entire edition on the same kind of paper (Fabriano Murillo, natch), with the bonus being that people would have a section of another print covering the entire back of the paper.
To further keep with the theme, I also decided to reuse an old piece of copper that already had an image on it. That print had been a particularly thorny pain in the ass, and I never finished it, so it was a delight to stick it in the metal cutter and chop it into pieces. I felt a cloud lift , knowing that it had been definitively dealt with.
As for the image, it's just some guy that I walked by one day while shopping. It's not a likeness, but the sneer and frantic search for a source of fire are genuine.
I really enjoyed the exchange (and the awesome print I got back in the mail), so big thanks go out to Amy Nack for organizing the whole thing. There are a couple more exhibitions lined up (the first one was in Boise last weekend, which is why I now feel free to share the image online), including one in New Zealand, I think!
