Here's an oldie but goodie: from 1997, a pen and ink drawing I did of basketball legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving...

And yes, that is actually Dr J's signature on the art.  Seemingly out of nowhere, he did a free autograph signing at a sporting goods store in Portland, and I found out early enough to do this piece to have him sign.  Better than a basketball card, y'know?  He seemed to like it, and even recognized the second figure in the drawing who is recoiling from the good doctor's awesomeness.
